A pocket tour (Manual Product Customers)
pocket is available when you set up Manual Products too, so as a broker, you may not get to experience what your customers can see and what features this module has.
This article will showcase some of screenshots of the functions and features of the module.
If the customer uses either Change Payment Frequency or Change Payment Method, they will be required to submit the change to the broker using the 'Request Policy Changes' section. Once this is submitted, an activity is created, which is open for the broker to respond to the request. The request has to be actioned by the broker.
My Policies tab looks like this:
The customer can:
- View Policy
This icon will open up the same documents that are visible to the broker, in bond, under Policy Documents. So here it will show, Consent and Acceptance, Policy documents that are added to the Dec Page Activity and any other documents that are added using the Documents activity.
- View Payments
Here they can view the payments, as they can from the My Overview screen. (noted earlier in this article).
- Change Policy
If the customer uses Change Policy, they will be required to submit the change to the broker using the 'Request Policy Changes' section.
The customer can only request to change the policy from a date in the future and include a description of their request, like here:
Once this is submitted, an activity is created, which is open for the broker to respond to the request. The request has to be actioned by the broker, as it will require the change to be processed with the insurance company.
- Cancel
Again, this will open the 'Request Policy Changes' field as shown above (used for any changes requested in pocket for Manual Product).
Like previously mentioned, the customer can only make the request here and it will be submitted via a bond activity for the broker to review and complete.
Here is what the Claim tab looks like:
As you can see, there is verbiage that explains to the customer that, because of the type of policy (a Manual Product) the claim report will not be submitted online.
However, if the customer completes the fields and selects Submit, this will notify the broker by setting a claim activity in bond, for the broker to review and get in contact with the customer.
Here is an example of the activity the broker will receive:
Here is an image of the My Vouchers tab:
All the customer needs to do is use the code or click on the link on the voucher to take them to to website where they can use them.
Vouchers are only available where the brokerage has requested that this feature is available for their customers.
Here the customer can update some, limited, information, shown here:
