Nude Solutions Updated Release

This bulletin contains information regarding our next upcoming release. It includes useful information about changes that may affect your day to day processes. If you have any third-party partnerships, don’t forget to let them know of any changes that may affect them also!

 

We felt in important to identify key stakeholders in our enhancement bulletins and so have created a standardized list of departments to help you identify where these changes may impact your day to day.

Enhancements – You spoke, we listened!

 

  • Multi Quote (see details below)
  • System generated emails now attach to customer file in bond (see details below)
  • Flat cancellations of renewals (see details below)
  • OFAC lockouts – some Social Criminal Behavior lockouts will not be allowed to be overridden

 

 

* If the lockout indicator has changed from a padlock to a barred circle, the lockout cannot be removed.

 

 

What’s New and Improved? 

 

Multi Quote  
Module: thru
Affected Stakeholders: Sales, HR

 

How it functioned before?

Customer is provided a quote in thru for the carrier with the lowest premium.

 

How it functions now?

For brokers with more than one carrier, two pages in thru have changed.

 

  1. Quote & Customize – Package Options

Now displays quotes from alternate carriers instead of package options. *if only one market is eligible to quote the packages will display as usual i.e. practical, popular, premium. If the API connection is failing with the insurer (i.e SGI) the multi quote page will still appear, showing only one carrier.

    This screen will now display additional coverage options and will vary per carrier.

 

For brokers with one carrier, one page may be changed in thru;

Why?

To allow customers more coverage options based on their individual needs.

 

 

System generated emails now added to bond

Module: bond

Affected Stakeholders:  Sales

 

How it functioned before?

No system generated emails were saved to customer files.

 

How it functions now?

All system generated emails sent to the client will now be stored in bond as an activity called ‘Email to Customer’

 

Why?

To allow brokers access to all system generated emails sent to their clients.

 

Ability for bond user to request flat cancellation of renewal (if market accepts)

Module: bond

Affected Stakeholders:  Sales, HR, Finance

 

How it functioned before?

bond user has no ability to back date a cancellation without broker manager permissions

 

How it functions now?

Broker will select ‘Cancel Policy’. Once in the form, ‘Flat cancellation of renewal’ will appear in the drop-down menu. Once submitted, the cancellation will refer to an SGI underwriter. The cancellation will then download with a back dated cancellation to the renewal date and a full credit will appear in the customers transactions.

 

Why?

To allow brokers the option to flat cancel a renewal if required.

 

SGI Specific - Updates to a home prior to 1980 will no longer be a lockout

Module: thru

Affected Stakeholders:  Sales, HR

 

How it functioned before?

Home quotes with updates prior to 1980 resulted in a lockout for all carriers and the customer could not proceed with the quote.

 

How it functions now?

Home quotes with updates prior to 1980 will no longer result in a lockout for SGI and will result in a referral to SGI if the policy is bound.

 

Why?

To allow more flexibility on updates based on carrier underwriting criteria.

 

 

When a user in Thru notes they had a claim in the past 5 years they will be prompted to enter a description of the claim

Affected Stakeholders:  Sales, HR

 

How it functioned before?

When a user is asked ‘How many continuous years of property insurance have you gone without a claim?’ and if the number of years is 5 or less, the customer is asked how many claims and then the user chooses a drop down for the claim type.

 

How it functions now?

thru now has a claim description field after choosing the claim drop down type.

 

Why?

To capture more information on prior claims for underwriting.

 

 

Other updates

  • The More Information button on the first Home disclaimer page in thru has been updated to read as: “Homes must be built upon a permanent foundation to qualify (not skirted or post & beam or pier).  Please contact us to discuss any questions regarding the eligibility of the construction or occupancy of your property”

 

What’s coming next!  

  • Ability to swap locations on an active home insurance policy
  • Certificate of insurance without premium information
  • Updates to information supplied in underwriting information screen in bond
