To change an effective date on a policy you need to cancel the policy and re-purchase.
Follow the cancellation procedure and in the cancellation reason, choose 'wrong date/policy mistake' or 'void policy'.
After the cancellation procedure is complete, any refunds will be set to be withdrawn on the date the policy was cancelled. The date of the refund can be changed by clicking on the calendar next to the refund in the payment section.
