We are pleased to re-introduce our short rate calculator.

WHERE CAN IT BE FOUND:

If you are not familiar with the platform, you can find the calculator on the left-hand side in thru.

HOW DOES IT WORK:

When you click the icon, it will pop-up the calculator with fields required.

Current Annual Premium

All fields must be completed to calculate an approximate refund. The keyword here is approximate, as Insurers can use their own short-rate tables with different percentages.

In our example, we use a start date of Nov. 1, 2023, and cancel date of December 1, 2023, with a $1000 annual premium. This totals 30 days with an approximate refund of $250.00

Which is based on 30 days at 25% as shown in the standard table (below).
