Scheduling watercraft can be accomplished either during the initial quoting process or by way of making a change to the policy. It's important to note that watercraft can only be scheduled onto a Home policy. Below is an example of how the scheduling process works when adding watercraft to a home insurance quote in thru:

 

 

A Pop-Up window will appear, asking for specific details about the boat you wish to add. This Pop-Up window is designed to gather the necessary information for accurately scheduling your watercraft. (shown below)

 

Go through and enter all the information pertaining to the boat.

 

If you select "Outboard" or "Non-Motorized", the Horsepower field will disappear from that tab. This is intentional as non-motorized will not have a HP and outboard motors require you to enter the details into the next tab marked “Add Outboard Motor”.

 

Boats with outboard motors should only include the value of the boat on this tab, the outboard motor value will be declared in the next tab.

 

Please note- when adding a value for a scheduled item, it should be be in Canadian dollars and include any applicable taxes.

 

For watercraft with an outboard motor, you will need to complete the next tab “Add Outboard Motor” as shown below:

 

 

 

 

 

To add a Boat Trailer, click on the "Add Boat Trailer" Tab and complete the fields as shown below:

 

 

To add a boat through a policy change, follow these simplified steps:

1. Go to the customer's profile and click on "Change Policy" on the right-side panel.
2. Select the desired policy term and effective date for the change.
3. Open the "Coverages & Deductible" drop-down menu.
4. Scroll down until you reach the section for "Additional Coverages and Items."
5. Choose the boat icon.
6. Provide all the necessary information for the boat and any applicable motors or trailers.
7. Click on "Calculate" to finalize the changes and determine the premium.
8. Submit the policy change, and your boat will be scheduled with the declaration showing the updated coverage and premium.
