Effective Monday April 25th, 2022,  we're adjusting the way that SGI policy wording booklets are accessed, in the platform. This change applies to New sales of Modern policies (Modern = quote bind and issue in thru) and for Renewals.

Currently when you are in thru getting a quote, the booklet is available on the Quote Summary using the Full Policy Details link shown here:

From Monday, the Full Policy Details link, shown above, will direct all users (and customers!) to the SGI website, and the booklets/wordings page, using this link here: https://www.sgicanada.ca/.

In addition, the booklet will no longer be sent when the New or Renewal insurance documents email goes to the customer (previously sent as a pdf attachment) and it will not be present in pocket if a customer views their documents there.

When a customer gets their SGI insurance documents, there is further information regarding where to get a copy of their booklet which aligns with the changes being made in the platform (contact the broker or go to the website), shown here:

This change ensures that all customers receive the current policy wording booklet and reduces maintenance work required in updating such information in the platform.
