What is Manual Product?

Hi everyone,

We have an announcement! Manual product is now available in our system. Manual product allows you to house all client information just like a traditional BMS from carriers that don’t fit our current modern policy model (quote, bind, issue, change, cancel, and renew) into Nude. Manual product is entirely optional for you to use – it only works on your system if you send us your broker codes.

 

How manual product works

 

After you enter the quote and/or policy into Nude: 

  • client payment facilities — including integrated premium financing and credit card — can be utilized  (just like a modern policy) 
  • customers can make changes in real-time to their payments (just like a modern policy);  
  • customers can view the policy documents attached to specific activities; 
  • customers can use pocket to request changes; 
  • brokers can amend payments within the customers file (just like a modern policy); 
  • and brokers can have the system send automated policy document emails to your customers (similar but slightly different from modern products)

How to opt into manual product  

If you would like to use manual product, please fill out the attached broker code form by Wednesday, October 20 and send it to me with the subject line, “Manual product request.”

  • Make sure you list ALL of the markets/carriers that you want to have access to within the Nude Solutions platform, even ones you don’t often use.
  • Note: if you send me other broker codes after sending your list, those codes will be added at a significantly later date. Please have a good read of your list before submitting it.

What you can expect after sending your broker codes

  • You’ll receive a follow-up email from me to schedule your training session with Alison Fox, Partner Training and Change Management Specialist.
  • Training sessions will be scheduled from the end of October.
