This feature is available is available on the Check out and Pay screen in thru.
AFI = Application for Insurance
There are permissions required to be assigned for users to access this feature, if you need access, please contact your Digital Champion to ask if this should be added for you. If you only see the Email option (Email AFI to the customer) on the check out and pay screen you do not have this permission.
In admin the permission is under the module, thru and is called Accept AFI.
There is another permission which allows users to export the quote / AFI outside the platform and that permission is called Export AFI.
When you are logged in as a user and you are in thru, the final screen is Checkout and Pay.
- On this screen you will have this question - ' Send Application for Insurance to client':
Email = this option will generate the email to the customer, as you might typically choose (no change to this feature).
View = this option will allow you to view and accept the AFI on the customers behalf.
- If you select View, this next page opens and you will view the AFI.
- Scroll to the bottom, check the box and Accept Quote, circled red in this image:
- Checking the box and accepting the quote will then open a pop up, asking what consent you have to accept on the customers behalf, like this:
- Choose the reason and select Bind/Issue.
- You can also see, in the above image, that you can Drag and Drop or Upload a document to here. So if you would like to attach the application you have, you can from here. It will attach it in bond activities attachments, for you.
- The section for Drag and Drop or Browse is not a mandatory field.
The customer will receive a copy of the AFI for their records and it is attached to activity in bond.
You will not be able to select Bind/Issue if you have not checked one of the options.
See Application for Insurance article, for details on how the customer can sign their AFI.
This option allows you to export the AFI, to send in an external email or print.
- Select Export Quote.
- The document is exported to pdf and can be printed or saved on your computer. *
- You can then print and get it signed then accept quote and attach it from there, in the field where you drag and drop documents.
*Note: the Export feature converts the application into a pdf, however this might be blocked by the pop up blocker installed on your browser. When using Edge as a browser, you might see this notification:
So you can select Allow if the above notification pop up appears, then you will see the pdf.
If there is any doubt, allow popups for the Nude platform.
As a logged in user, if you select Decline, this will simply return you to check out and pay and you will can start your selection again.
